These two fine ghost shrimp were purchased to help keep a clean tank. Liz (pictured above) is expecting, hopefully she will not get to excited. As roommates of Chicken & Chicken they will most likely end up lunch. You can purchase your very own ghost shrimp at your local PetSmart.

Phoenix artist Chelsea Winkel's work now available online

It was a long time coming.

Free from the confines of her studio, Chelsea Winkel and her work is now available to everyone. Dubbed mood paintings by some and expressionistic by those in the know, Winkel's paintings are more than just works of art- they're emotion captured on canvas.

Winkel and her work have a long history together. Originally started as a way for the User Interface Designer to express herself without the burden of standards and rules, her paintings depict emotion, each suspended in time and overlapped, in a way few have seen before.

"PLEASE is divine," said local Tyler Hurst. "The very essence of it
made me want to say thank you. It cried out to me."

Don't think Winkel is done yet.

"I created the paintings as a hobby at first," said Winkel, taking a
rare break from her G5. "But the more layered they got, the more they
expressed. And I needed the money, so..."

Winkel has displayed her art on numerous occasions, including kontakt
magazine events and First Friday at Landmark, a one-of-a-kind show
held this past June.

Two New Pets

MEET CHICKEN AND CHICKEN

Two new additions to my family. I named them both "Chicken". They are freshwater red claw crabs which apparently live best in slightly salty water. Anyone have a PH kit? They seem to be doing quite well so far, and I am pretty sure their water is cleaner than ours.
